Answer: I am assuming you are peri-menopausal. I am sorry to say that, worst scenario, these symptoms can persist for up to 4-5 years if you are very unlucky.
HRT is still licenced for first line use to treat menopausal symptoms. Depending on your age and your own feelings on the use of HRT, this might still not be an unreasonable option in the short term.
See a doctor right away. If you are over 50 and female it's menapause
If you're drinking alcohol before bed and not drinking enoug water this could be a fact in your sleeping problems. Or maybe your room is too warm? So drink plenty say 2 litres of water a day for 2-3 days and hopefully this will work. Or you could go see your doc you know. After all thats what they're there for! x x
iv had them 7 years and still going,
I know a woman who is going through menopause, but refuses to take hormones. She has had symptoms for 6 years.
man that sucks.
you be menopausal go to the doctors
Still get the occasional, slight flush, at 70!
Don't do pills.
Suggest you have a diabetic check, from your GP (Doctor) as I believe hot flushes may be a result of this.
Best of luck.
I am going through the menopause. Started it when I had chemotherapy. That was 6 years ago and I am sorry to say this but it's still going on although not so bad. I call them my power surges !!
