Can a mosquito withdraw blood from a scab?

If he can get his proboscis in, he can get the blood. A heavy scab will be too tough, but around the edges or newly formed would be easy.

Not from a scab directly as it has no blood supply of its own. In theory they could get under the scab and drink from there but it is unlikely - they like easy targets! Bless them.
