Breathing.?

Ok. I have Atshma and I find it hard to breathe through my nose so I always have to breathe through my mouth. Yet its extremely annoying cos' when im talking I always have to stop and breathe then carry on.

Anyone got some ideas on ways to practice breathing through my nose?
Answer:
Get A Steam Machine The Clears Your Nostril Passages .. I Have Asthma Too And I Have Had It Since I Was 11 I am 23 Now. You Should Also Go TO A Asthma Specialist They Can Help You With That Even More
buy some of those nose stripes that go on your nose and open up your nostrils they work miracles
I would suggest perhaps trying yoga and playing the harmonica (not at the same time)
Asthma affects the lungs not the nose - that's not asthma!
i wish i could help you, i can definitely see how that would get annoying. i would try talking to a doctor... probably some kind of specialist. good luck.
Yes, you need to learn how to breathe correctly and more efficiently for your asthma. First, try exhaling through pursed lips, then inhaling through your nostrils. This takes conscious practice. Second. try yoga classes. It is the best way to use conscious breathing. It will help you tremendously. Next, go to the bookstore. There are Cd's and kits that teach breathing techniques, and can be very helpful
i feel you may need an exam to ascertain if you have any
physical blockages in your nasal passages, such as a
deviated septum, the cartilage that separates the sides of your nose.
if not, see a doctor to see if other problems exist.
usually, drugs such as albuterol, atrovent, etc. only open the
airway in your throat, not your nose.
you need to find out what is causing the problem.

Breath rite strips may help. You put them across the bridge of your nose and they keep your nose passages open to breath better. If you burn candles in your home , you should stop. Candles put off suet. Making it hard to breathe. Good luck.
