Bump over belly button and a little pain when I cough or bend down?

Hi all,
Im going to the doctors tomorrow morning, was just wondering if any of you experienced this or know what it may be,
I developped a bump over my belly button, its an INWARD bumb, so I feel it inside my body, it never hurt at all till about a week ago.

I developped this bump around my 6th month of PREGNANCY, my ob/gyn told me it may be a torn muscle but will go away after labor.
Well I still have it, (that ob gyn is an idiot by the way with poor practice) and from about a week ago, it hurts a little when I cough or bend down.

My baby is 4 months old! SO I have it for about 7 months now.

If it is hernia, doesnt hernia hurt ALOT? Or is it maybe a pulled muscle? But can you have a pulled muscle this long? doesnt it cure faster?

Thanks for all your responses!
Answer:
Hernia - find a new doctor and tell him/her to check for a hernia. Insist - doctors work for you, not the other way around. You can be pleasant and still be insistent - if the second doctor won't do it, go to a third.
sounds like a hernia
Go to webmd.com and try their symptom checker to see what it comes up with.
hernia, hands down
