Brown tounge?

My mom just notified me that her tounge is brown i asked her questions she said shes fine and hasnt ate anything with color.but she did say shes has 3 glasses ice tea could that be it? i just worrie about my mom she older and disabled.Her whole tounge isnt completely brown just the top is.

She drank alot of tea, Tea is a diuretic, and dehydration cause a coating on your tongue and yes, it's probably the tea, She need to drink water. Where I live its 94 degrees outside, I suspect it probably hot where you are and that's why she may have been drinking tea. But , she needs WATER, or next she'll be dizzy and feeling like shes going to pass out .
